As the year draws to a close, we're taking a moment to reflect on the films that meant something to us this year and Dilwale is at the forefront because it's actually one of our favorite films. Dilwale is not your average love story and it does not offer anything new or extraordinary in terms of story-telling. But there's something about this film that we've never experienced before, which makes it one of our favorites. You have an instant connection with the two main characters - their banter, their language of love, their anger... Dilwale offers fantastic performances from its leading actors who will stay with you long after watching the film. You'll be left with a feeling that's hard to put into words, a feeling that says a lot about a director's eye for detail and ability to capture the spirit of his characters.
When we first started the review, we had an inkling of what was going to happen next. For once, we didn't predict it! We can be wrong sometimes! "Sachin Tendulkar is one of those rare cricketers who has been able to create records without being too flashy about it. There is no question as to why he is considered as one of the God's of Cricket. And if that isn't enough, he's also a very talented actor with an ability to create magic on screen with his expressions. Tendulkar has also starred in some great films like Lage Raho Munna Bhai and Chhailla Babu. He is set to star in Rohit Shetty's next film - Rohit Shetty has worked with Sachin Tendulkar before on the film Chhailla Babu (2009) and now they are together once again for this project.
As far as the cast for the film is concerned, there are no concrete rumors yet. But this cast will go on to become one of the best in history.
